Cobblestone Hotel & Suites - Punxsutawney

We had a great experience staying here overall. I first noticed how clean and well maintained it was which is always a high priority for me. Everything from the lobby to our room was in great condition. There is no carpet which is an added bonus! The location was great as well. The breakfast options were small but still very acceptableThe only negative is that the pillows are very flat and not very comfortable. The mattresses as well seem to be a little worn down but weren’t terrible. Regardless, we will definitely stay here again when we come back to the area. It’s one of the better hotels that we’ve ever stayed in.

This was our third stay at the Inn and it was wonderful. The rooms have been upgraded and are very nice. The tub drain was slow, but that is the only problem we encountered. The breakfast was nice and more bang for your buck. It is a nice, relaxing and quiet setting with a pretty view. I would strongly recommend over any of the other offerings in this qaint little community.

This little hotel was a pleasant surprise. Even though just out of town, it is actually closer to Gobblers Knob then going from the center of town. Also, the only hotel this close to Punxsutawney, otherwise you are looking at least 20 miles away in Bradford or DuBois PA. There is a hotel (Shadow Hotel) in the center of Punxsutawney, but it has been under renovation for at least 3 years that I know of, and it didn't look like being close to reopening anytime soon. You also have several B&Bs close by, but none accept pets. Staff was very helpful with hotel info and local sights and activities. Room was large, clean, tidy, well furnished and everything worked. Also a very quiet night in a very comfortable bed. Ample parking. No elevator, but ground floor rooms would not have access issues. Nice indoor pool, and and outside area to relax with picnic tables, umbrellas, and a grill. They also have a small bar that is open at 4:30pm till 11:30, I think, with a basic selection of beverages, including mixed drinks. Breakfast was tasty. Scrambled eggs tasted like real eggs and the sausage was plump, juicy and flavorful. Also the usual collection of pastries, toast, waffle maker, juice, and coffee, more, but I can't recall all the food displayed. Great place to stay, easy to find, relaxing surrounds, and quiet. Enjoy your stay.

Wonderful stay at the Inn at Punxsutawney. Former hotel chain know for not having elevators is the only drawback. The staff were awesome. Made a terrific food recommendation for a local restaurant dinner. Morning breakfast was typical hotel breakfast. Coffee was hot & fresh in morning.

Got two rooms for me and my granddaughters, nice rooms and one had a hot tub which my 6 year old granddaughter loved, nice pool and the staff was great and friendly. I highly recommend staying here.

This is a hidden gem for sure we travel for work and we're pleasantly surprised . When we arrived there were no down stairs rooms and the nice lady made room for us and the rooms are like a new hotel . We have four in total and all of them are well stocked and very well kept. Wish we were staying longer.

Best bed away from home ever!. Waterbed at home so stays away are usually very uncomfortable. Not so this time. Also, handheld shower, bench and grab bars were more than adequate. Very good breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms and clean air.
